Many health and wellness professionals may struggle with blogging for their health and wellness blog.
For example, you may not think you have enough time to blog. Perhaps you don’t know who your audience is or what they want.

All you have to do is open to the possibility of them and take your content writing to the next level.
Use Short and Long Tail Keywords in Your Health and Wellness Blog Posts
You may have heard that it’s a good idea to use short and long tail keywords in your health and wellness blog. However, you want to use the “right” short and long tail keywords in your blog posts. And you want to use keywords and phrases you’re target uses when they’re searching for a a health and wellness blog. Don’t be afraid to ask a client or customer how they found your blog. The information they give you is invaluable.
Of course, you can use free tools such as Google AdWords Keyword Planner, WordPot, Wordtracker (limits the number of searches – offers a paid option), and others to find keywords, or you could invest in a keyword software such as WordStream, BrightEdge (I’ve used this and it’s thorough), and others. With these programs, you enter your short and long tail keywords, and receive important results such as search volume, competition, cost for paid search, and other information. You’ll want to use a set of Primary (one or three) and Secondary (one to three) keywords. You don’t want to exceed 10 keywords
because this may be overkill within your blog posts. And you never, ever want to stuff your health and wellness blog posts with keywords. You may have heard this before, but it begs repeating. You want to provide readers with useful posts. You want them to come back and bring others with them. Develop a community and make everyone feel welcomed!

But understand what these terms mean. You want to be authentic in your writing. Being a writer myself and coincidentally having written a few health and wellness posts and for blogs and magazines, you have to be clued up about all that you mentioned, especially keywords if it’s for a blog. Having your facts right is another important point, where health is concerned, isn’t it?

You definitely need to have your facts right because you don’t want to give people erroneous information, especially where health and wellness are concerned. If you’re not a certified personal trainer, dietitian, etc., it’s important to have a disclaimer. Then again, even if you have the credentials, you still want to have a disclaimer.
