I’m Amandah T. Blackwell, Cleveland, Ohio freelance writer, ghost writer, and creative writer. I began freelance writing four years ago by falling into it.
How did I fall into freelance writing?
Well… I solo traveled to the UK, wrote an article about it, submitted my article along with my resume and graphic design portfolio to an Arizona travel company (I was living in AZ at the time), they liked it, and hired me as their blogger. The End.
Actually, it’s just the beginning.
As you can tell from my web design, I’m not your typical freelance writer. For example, I was an ‘extra’ in the movie “Middle Men” starring James Caan, Luke Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi. Since I have an artistic flair, I stay on top of trends, “what’s hot, what’s not,” I have a lot of ideas.
I like to help companies focus on their business results and profitability by taking care of their blog copywriting, article writing, eBooks, creative writing, web content writing, etc.

In addition to being a freelance writer, I’m a skilled interviewer. I get to the bottom of a story. For example:
As a freelance writer, I have interviewed authors, script consultants, producers, directors, writers, and many other experts and professionals such as the President and Ceo of The Phoenix Symphony along with the founder of Scottsdale Fashion Week in Scottsdale, Arizona. I was interviewed by the owners of The Gate Keepers Post and Zemanta, respectively.
Social Media Experience
I was a forum moderator for a travel company located in Scottsdale, Arizona. I answered questions posted by members and maintained a constant dialogue with them. For a L.A. interior designer, I created the owner’s Facebook fan page and Twitter page. Currently, I’m maintaining a Cleveland travel publishing company’s Facebook fan page and Twitter page.
My education includes a Master of Science, Management, B.S., Accounting, and Graphic Design certification. Thanks to my well-rounded professional background and education, I can write on any topic.
